This controller is a boost controller. The solar panel voltage must be lower than the battery voltage to boost charge the battery. For instance, when charging a 24V battery, the solar panel voltage should be lower than the battery voltage. You can connect 12V or 18V solar panels.

User notice:
1.This controller is suitable for solar panel inputs ranging from 12V to 50V and can boost output voltage from 24V to 88V for battery packs. The battery packs can be open or sealed lead-acid battery packs, and it also supports lithium iron phosphate and lithium batteries.
2. Upon proper connection, the system starts automatically in sunlight. LED digital display lights up, signifying system initiation.
Post initiation, the LED digital display shows photovoltaic panel current, power, and battery voltage. When the charging current reads 0.0A, the battery pack is fully charged, and charging stops.
3. Setting Battery Pack Charging Voltage,Connect the photovoltaic panel and simultaneously hold the plus and minus buttons. The LED digital display will blink. Use the plus and minus buttons to set the charging voltage, and release the buttons to complete the setting.
4. Usage Usage Suggestions
Avoid overloading the controller. For an 18V system, the maximum power is 300W. If using two 18V solar panels, connect them in series or parallel. For a 36V system, the maximum power is 450W. If using more than two panels, connect them in parallel.
5. Installation steps
(1) Firstly, correctly connect the solar panel to the controller's input terminal.
(2) Next, connect the battery to the controller's output terminal.
Ensure the red wire of the input and output lines is connected to the positive terminal, and the black wire is connected to the negative terminal.
(3)Wire length: To minimize energy loss, keep the wire length connecting to the controller as short as possible.
(4)Solar panel placement: When using solar panels, place them in an area with ample sunlight and no obstructions. Obstructions can impact panel efficiency, leading to decreased system performance.
(5)Ventilation and cooling: The controller generates heat during operation. To ensure long-term stable operation, install the controller in a well-ventilated environment to prevent overheating.
(6)Fuse replacement: Strictly avoid replacing fuses with those of higher ratings or using substitutes like copper wire. The controller's fuse is rated at 15A. Proper fuse usage effectively protects the circuit and ensures device safety.
(7)Adhering to the above instructions will enable you to use our MPPT solar boost controller correctly and safely. For any queries or further consultation, feel free to contact our customer service team. Thank you for your support and collaboration!
